Prime Minister Modi said, ‘This budget will provide a new path of progress for traders and small industries. The budget also focuses on production and infrastructure. This will accelerate economic development and also provide continuity to the pace. Creating employment and self-employment have been the identity of our government. Today’s budget further strengthens it.’ According to the Prime Minister, ‘In this budget, the government has announced an employment-linked incentive. Under this scheme, our government will pay the first salary of the youth who gets the first job in life. Whether it is help for skill development and higher education or a plan for internships for one crore youth, this will help the youth, the poor, and my sons and daughters work in the top companies of the country. New doors of possibilities will open for them.’
‘Small industries have become the centre of the country’
According to the Prime Minister, ‘We have to make every city, every village, and every house entrepreneurial. We have increased the limit of the Mudra loan without guarantee from 10 lakh to 20 lakh. This will benefit the backward, Dalits, and tribals. Together, we will make the country an industrial hub. The MSME sector of the country has become the centre of the country. The great strength of small industries is an important step. In this budget, arrangements have been made to increase the ease of credit for them.’
