Reliance Unveils Jio True 5G Developer Platform and 5G Lab to Foster Innovation
Reliance, a prominent conglomerate, has launched the Jio True 5G Developer Platform and Jio 5G Lab, marking a significant move to empower startups and enterprises in developing innovative 5G use cases. This initiative is set to leverage Jio’s advanced 5G network capabilities, edge computing infrastructure, and collaborative partner solutions.
The Jio True 5G Developer Platform is poised to facilitate the swift deployment of 5G edge computing, a critical aspect enabling real-time edge artificial intelligence (AI), immersive experiences, and rapid autonomous decisions. This platform’s introduction aligns with Reliance’s commitment to fostering cutting-edge technological solutions for businesses.
With the incorporation of advanced network slicing capabilities, enterprises will be granted the ability to independently create and optimize network slices with regularity. This capacity enhances their operational flexibility and adaptability to varying business requirements.
During the announcement at the 46th Reliance Annual General Meeting (AGM), Akash Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Jio, unveiled the Jio 5G Lab’s establishment. Situated at the Reliance Corporate Park in Navi Mumbai, this lab is anticipated to serve as a hub for pioneering 5G-related research, experimentation, and collaboration.
